Helensburgh and the surrounding area is so often passed by as people make their way north to the Highlands which is a shame because the area has much to offer and makes a great base from where to explore this beautiful and breathtaking country.
There’s stunning countryside within easy reach for outdoor pursuits such as golf, walking, climbing, skiing and sailing.
Some of the best food on the West Coast of Scotland from awarding restaurants such as the Sugar Boat, Riverhill Courtyard, La Barca, Anaya’s, the Wee Kelpie and within an hour’s drive of the phenomenonal Inver Restaurant.
There’s also La Jupe, Cattle and Creel, La Padrone, Mira Mare and a whole host of other really good restaurants in Helensburgh.
Withing walking distance of the house is the Anchor pub, The Perch Cafe, Loulou’s Deli, the Golden Valley Chinese takeaway and an Indian takeaway and not forgetting just a short drive away the Harvest Moon Deli in Clynder, the Cafe at Kilcreggan and the wonderful K.Walkers Butcher in Kilcreggan who will deliver.
Supermarkets locally include Waitrose and the CO-OP who both deliver as do Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s.
